Privacy Policy - Recruit Engineering

1. Who we are

recruitengineer.com is operated by Recruit Engineering, 633 W 5th St, Suite 4817, Los Angeles, CA 90071 (“we”, “us”). Questions or requests about your information go to privacy@recruitengineer.com.

2. Information we collect

From employers, through our hiring form: your name, company, email address, phone number and the details you give us about the role.

From job seekers, through our candidate form: your name, email address, the résumé and any other files you upload, and your message. Please leave out your Social Security or Social Insurance Number, date of birth, health information and photographs — we do not need them.

Automatically, when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and how you arrived. This comes from Google Analytics and from Cloudflare, which secures and delivers the site.

3. How we use it

To respond to your inquiry and work on the search or job match you asked about.
To contact candidates about roles that fit their background.
To understand how the site is used and improve it.
To keep the site secure and block spam.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

4. Who we share it with

Employers: we send a candidate’s résumé to an employer only after the candidate agrees to be put forward for that specific role.
Service providers that run parts of the site for us: Hosting365 (hosting), Cloudflare (security and delivery), Google (analytics) and Zoho (email). They may use the information only to provide their service to us.
Authorities, where the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep form submissions and résumés until you ask us to delete them. Email privacy@recruitengineer.com at any time and we will delete your information, except anything we are legally required to keep.

6. Cookies and Do Not Track

Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits. You can block cookies in your browser or install Google’s opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout); the site still works. Our site does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

7. Your rights

Everyone can ask us to show, correct or delete the information we hold about them. Email privacy@recruitengineer.com; we reply within 30 days.

California residents may have additional rights under California law, including the right to know what we collect and why, to delete or correct it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.

Canadian residents may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).

8. Security

The site uses an encrypted connection, and only the people who need submitted forms can access them. No system is perfectly secure, so please send only what a recruiter needs.
