Senior Software Engineer

The employer is looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Atlanta, GA. In this role you will lead technical work alongside an experienced software engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Atlanta location.

What you’ll do

• Design, build and maintain services and features used by thousands of customers every day
• Automate repetitive build, test and release steps
• Contribute to technical design documents and architecture discussions
• Mentor teammates and help raise the bar for code quality on the team
• Improve performance, reliability and observability across the services you own
• Mentor junior engineers and review their work

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience
• Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms and software design principles
• Comfort working with version control, code review and automated testing
• Professional experience shipping production software in at least one modern language
• A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Compensation and benefits

The pay range for this position in Atlanta, GA is $139,000 – $177,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
