We are hiring a Senior Front-End Engineer to join our software engineering team in Greensboro. You will lead technical work on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Greensboro location.
What you’ll do
- Champion accessibility and usability across the product
- Work with back-end engineers to define clean API contracts
- Build responsive, accessible user interfaces in React and TypeScript
- Translate designs into reusable components and maintain the shared component library
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills
- Experience writing automated tests for front-end code
- Working knowledge of HTML semantics, CSS layout and browser developer tools
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with WCAG 2.1 AA audits
- Familiarity with design systems and Figma
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Greensboro, NC is $140,000 – $178,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
