We are hiring a Security Engineer to join our software engineering team in New York. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our New York office.
What you’ll do
- Run threat models and security reviews for new features and infrastructure
- Manage vulnerability scanning and drive remediation with engineering teams
- Build detections and respond to security incidents
- Support compliance work such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001 audits
- Harden cloud identity and access management
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Working knowledge of common attack techniques and defenses
- Experience with a SIEM or log analysis platform
- Experience in application, cloud or infrastructure security
Nice to have
- Security certifications such as OSCP, CISSP or GIAC
- Experience with container security
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $158,000 – $201,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
