We are hiring a Reliability Engineer to join our mechanical engineering team in Sterling Heights. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Sterling Heights office.
What you’ll do
- Analyze failure data and lead root-cause investigations
- Improve preventive maintenance plans in the CMMS
- Run predictive maintenance programs (vibration, thermography, oil analysis)
- Develop reliability-centered maintenance strategies for critical equipment
- Track and report on equipment availability and mean time between failures
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Knowledge of FMEA and RCA methods
- Experience in an industrial maintenance or reliability role
- Data analysis skills
Nice to have
- Vibration analyst certification
- CMRP certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Sterling Heights, MI is $89,000 – $113,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
