We are hiring a QA Automation Engineer to join our software engineering team in Oakland. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Oakland location.
What you’ll do
- Design and maintain automated UI and API test suites
- Write test plans and test cases for new features
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
- Track, reproduce and triage defects with developers
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Programming ability in Python, Java or JavaScript
- Experience testing REST APIs
- Experience building test automation with Selenium, Playwright or Cypress
Nice to have
- ISTQB certification
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Oakland, CA is $120,000 – $153,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
