The employer is looking for a Project Engineer in Augusta, GA. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced construction engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Augusta location.
What you’ll do
- Review drawings and specifications for conflicts
- Manage RFIs, submittals and change orders on commercial construction projects
- Track budgets and costs alongside the project manager
- Support closeout documentation
- Attend owner and subcontractor meetings and keep minutes
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with Procore or similar construction software
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Comfort working on active job sites
Nice to have
- Experience on projects over $20M
- OSHA 30 certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Augusta, GA is $72,000 – $92,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
