The employer is looking for a Network Engineer in Mesquite, TX. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced software engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Mesquite office.
What you’ll do
- Automate network changes with Python and Ansible
- Document network designs and standards
- Design, build and support enterprise LAN, WAN and data center networks
- Configure routing, switching, firewalls and SD-WAN
- Monitor performance and troubleshoot outages
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Clear documentation habits
- Strong routing and switching knowledge (BGP, OSPF)
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper or Arista platforms
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud networking
- CCNP or CCIE certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Mesquite, TX is $104,000 – $132,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
