The employer is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer in Milwaukee, WI. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced industrial & manufacturing engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Milwaukee location.
What you’ll do
- Support new product introduction on the production floor
- Write work instructions and process documentation
- Drive scrap reduction, cycle-time and cost improvements
- Lead PFMEAs and root-cause investigations
- Design fixtures, tooling and work cells
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong problem-solving ability
- CAD skills for fixture design
- Working knowledge of lean and continuous improvement
Nice to have
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
- Experience with automation and robotics
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Milwaukee, WI is $73,000 – $93,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
