As a Lead Quality Engineer with the employer, you will set technical direction and help shape how the industrial & manufacturing engineering team works. This position is based in Milwaukee, WI. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Milwaukee office.
What you’ll do
- Develop inspection plans and control plans
- Monitor processes with statistical process control
- Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues
- Support customer and third-party audits
- Own corrective and preventive action (CAPA) investigations
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
- Set technical standards and guide decisions across multiple projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong documentation habits
- Experience with ISO 9001 or a similar quality management system
- Working knowledge of SPC and measurement systems analysis
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
- Experience with AS9100, IATF 16949 or ISO 13485
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Milwaukee, WI is $108,000 – $138,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
