We are hiring an HVAC Design Engineer to join our mechanical engineering team in New York. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our New York location.
What you’ll do
- Design HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, healthcare and education buildings
- Model systems and produce construction documents in Revit
- Select equipment and write specifications
- Support construction administration and commissioning
- Perform heating and cooling load calculations
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience producing construction documents
- Strong coordination skills
- Knowledge of ASHRAE standards and mechanical codes
Nice to have
- PE license
- Experience with energy modeling in eQUEST or IES
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $104,000 – $132,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
