The employer is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer in Fremont, CA. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced electrical & computer engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Fremont location.
What you’ll do
- Debug at the board level with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and JTAG
- Develop firmware in C and C++ for microcontroller-based products
- Write unit and hardware-in-the-loop tests
- Write device drivers for sensors, communication buses and peripherals
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Hands-on lab debugging experience
- Ability to read schematics and datasheets
- Strong C programming skills for resource-constrained systems
Nice to have
- Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy or other wireless stacks
- Experience in a regulated industry (medical, automotive, aerospace)
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Fremont, CA is $143,000 – $181,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
