As an Electrical Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the electrical & computer engineering team works. This position is based in Boston, MA. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is on site at our Boston location.
What you’ll do
- Bring up and validate prototype hardware in the lab
- Support EMC, safety and regulatory testing
- Design analog, digital and power circuits for new products
- Capture schematics and guide PCB layout in Altium
- Maintain bills of materials and work with component suppliers
- Simulate circuits and perform worst-case analysis
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Ability to read and interpret datasheets
- Strong analog and digital circuit fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with lab test equipment
Nice to have
- Experience with power electronics or motor drives
- Experience with UL or IEC certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Boston, MA is $76 – $93 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
