Our Albuquerque office is growing, and we need an Associate Manufacturing Engineer who can learn quickly and contribute from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative industrial & manufacturing engineering group and report to the industrial & manufacturing engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Albuquerque office.
What you’ll do
- Drive scrap reduction, cycle-time and cost improvements
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products
- Write work instructions and process documentation
- Lead PFMEAs and root-cause investigations
- Support new product introduction on the production floor
- Design fixtures, tooling and work cells
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- Experience in a production manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving ability
- CAD skills for fixture design
Nice to have
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
- Experience with automation and robotics
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Albuquerque, NM is $57,000 – $72,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
