The employer is looking for an Associate HVAC Design Engineer in Houston, TX. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced mechanical engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Houston location.
What you’ll do
- Select equipment and write specifications
- Design HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, healthcare and education buildings
- Support construction administration and commissioning
- Model systems and produce construction documents in Revit
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
- Knowledge of ASHRAE standards and mechanical codes
- Experience with load calculation software
- Experience producing construction documents
Nice to have
- LEED AP credential
- Experience with energy modeling in eQUEST or IES
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Houston, TX is $65,000 – $83,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
