The employer is looking for an Associate Controls Engineer in Murfreesboro, TN. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced electrical & computer engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Murfreesboro office.
What you’ll do
- Integrate robots, vision systems and safety devices
- Commission equipment on site and train operators
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs for automated equipment
- Develop HMI and SCADA screens
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Experience programming Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs
- Willingness to travel to job sites
- Ability to read electrical schematics
Nice to have
- Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 13849)
- Experience with FANUC or ABB robots
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Murfreesboro, TN is $64,000 – $82,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
