The employer is looking for an Associate Civil Engineer in San Antonio, TX. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced civil engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our San Antonio location.
What you’ll do
- Support construction administration, including submittal review and site visits
- Prepare cost estimates and quantity takeoffs
- Prepare stormwater reports and calculations
- Prepare site, grading, utility and drainage designs for land development projects
- Produce construction drawings and specifications in Civil 3D
- Coordinate with municipal reviewers and secure permits
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Strong technical writing skills
- Working knowledge of local and state design standards
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Nice to have
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification
- Experience with HEC-RAS or SWMM
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in San Antonio, TX is $62,000 – $79,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
