As a Principal Reliability Engineer with the employer, you will set technical direction and help shape how the mechanical engineering team works. This position is based in McKinney, TX. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our McKinney office.
What you’ll do
- Improve preventive maintenance plans in the CMMS
- Run predictive maintenance programs (vibration, thermography, oil analysis)
- Analyze failure data and lead root-cause investigations
- Track and report on equipment availability and mean time between failures
- Develop reliability-centered maintenance strategies for critical equipment
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
- Set technical standards and guide decisions across multiple projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in an industrial maintenance or reliability role
- Data analysis skills
- Experience with a CMMS such as SAP PM or Maximo
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery

- Vibration analyst certification
- CMRP certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in McKinney, TX is $135,000 – $172,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
