The employer is looking for an Associate Structural Engineer in San Diego, CA. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced civil engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our San Diego office.
What you’ll do
- Build analysis models in RISA, ETABS or SAP2000
- Perform condition assessments of existing structures
- Prepare calculations and structural drawings coordinated in Revit
- Review shop drawings and answer contractor RFIs
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Clear communication with architects and contractors
- Experience with structural analysis software
- Strong hand-calculation skills
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in structural engineering
- PE or SE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in San Diego, CA is $78,000 – $100,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
