The employer is looking for a Petroleum Engineer Intern in Arlington, TX. In this role you will gain hands-on experience alongside an experienced petroleum engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a 12-week paid summer internship. This role is on site at our Arlington location.
What you’ll do
- Perform reservoir and decline-curve analysis
- Prepare economic evaluations for development projects
- Monitor field performance and recommend workovers
- Coordinate with geoscience and operations teams
What you’ll bring
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering
- Familiarity with industry software such as Petrel or ARIES
- Experience with reservoir or production engineering
- Willingness to visit field locations
Nice to have
- Unconventional reservoir experience
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Arlington, TX is $33 – $39 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
