Software Engineer

The employer is a robotics company building autonomous systems for warehouses and agriculture.

As a Software Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the software engineering team works. This position is based in Stockton, CA. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Stockton location.

What you’ll do

• Contribute to technical design documents and architecture discussions
• Write clean, well-tested code and review pull requests from teammates
• Partner with product managers and designers to scope and estimate new work
• Mentor teammates and help raise the bar for code quality on the team
• Design, build and maintain services and features used by thousands of customers every day

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience
• Professional experience shipping production software in at least one modern language
• Experience with relational databases and writing efficient SQL
• Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms and software design principles

Nice to have

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience building distributed systems or event-driven architectures

Compensation and benefits

The pay range for this position in Stockton, CA is $135,000 – $172,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
