We are hiring a Water Resources Engineer to join our civil engineering team in Houston. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Houston location.
What you’ll do
- Model hydrology and hydraulics for flood control and stormwater projects
- Analyze data in GIS to support capital planning
- Support grant applications and regulatory submittals
- Prepare master plans and engineering reports for municipal clients
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Understanding of hydraulics and hydrology
- Experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS or SWMM
- Strong report writing
Nice to have
- Experience with InfoWater or WaterGEMS
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Houston, TX is $88,000 – $112,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
