Electrical Engineer Intern

The employer is looking for an Electrical Engineer Intern in Jacksonville, FL. In this role you will gain hands-on experience alongside an experienced electrical & computer engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a 12-week paid summer internship. This role is on site at our Jacksonville location.
What you’ll do
- Design analog, digital and power circuits for new products
- Bring up and validate prototype hardware in the lab
- Maintain bills of materials and work with component suppliers
- Capture schematics and guide PCB layout in Altium
What you’ll bring
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools
- Strong analog and digital circuit fundamentals
- Ability to read and interpret datasheets
Nice to have
- Experience with power electronics or motor drives
- Experience with UL or IEC certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Jacksonville, FL is $25 – $30 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
