We are hiring a Principal Hardware Engineer to join our electrical & computer engineering team in Miami Gardens. You will set technical direction on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Miami Gardens location.
What you’ll do
- Work with firmware engineers to debug hardware-software issues
- Drive designs through manufacturing release
- Lead board bring-up and hardware validation
- Design high-speed digital boards with processors, memory and FPGAs
- Perform signal and power integrity analysis
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
- Set technical standards and guide decisions across multiple projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience designing complex multilayer PCBs
- Lab skills with oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers
- Knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as DDR, PCIe or Ethernet
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- FPGA development experience
- Experience with HyperLynx or similar SI tools
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Miami Gardens, FL is $171,000 – $218,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
