Our Wichita office is growing, and we need a Robotics Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative mechanical engineering group and report to the mechanical engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Wichita location.
What you’ll do
- Work across mechanical, electrical and software teams
- Develop software for robot perception, planning and control
- Tune and validate robot performance in the lab and the field
- Write simulation and test tools
- Integrate sensors, actuators and compute hardware
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Understanding of kinematics and control
- Strong C++ or Python skills
- Hands-on robotics experience
Nice to have
- Graduate degree in robotics
- Experience with SLAM or computer vision
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Wichita, KS is $107,000 – $136,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
