Our Las Vegas office is growing, and we need an Associate Front-End Engineer who can learn quickly and contribute from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative software engineering group and report to the software engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Las Vegas location.
What you’ll do
- Write unit and end-to-end tests for user-facing features
- Champion accessibility and usability across the product
- Build responsive, accessible user interfaces in React and TypeScript
- Translate designs into reusable components and maintain the shared component library
- Work with back-end engineers to define clean API contracts
- Measure and improve page performance and Core Web Vitals
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills
- Working knowledge of HTML semantics, CSS layout and browser developer tools
- Experience writing automated tests for front-end code
Nice to have
- Familiarity with design systems and Figma
- Experience with WCAG 2.1 AA audits
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Las Vegas, NV is $79,000 – $101,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
