The employer is looking for a Water Resources Engineer in Austin, TX. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced civil engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Austin office.
What you’ll do
- Prepare master plans and engineering reports for municipal clients
- Model hydrology and hydraulics for flood control and stormwater projects
- Design water distribution, sewer and pump station improvements
- Analyze data in GIS to support capital planning
- Support grant applications and regulatory submittals
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Understanding of hydraulics and hydrology
- Working GIS skills
- Strong report writing
Nice to have
- PE license
- Experience with InfoWater or WaterGEMS
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Austin, TX is $96,000 – $122,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
