The employer is looking for a Senior Project Engineer in Philadelphia, PA. In this role you will set technical direction alongside an experienced construction engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Philadelphia office.
What you’ll do
- Support closeout documentation
- Coordinate subcontractors and track the project schedule
- Manage RFIs, submittals and change orders on commercial construction projects
- Attend owner and subcontractor meetings and keep minutes
- Review drawings and specifications for conflicts
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
- Set technical standards and guide decisions across multiple projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with Procore or similar construction software
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Comfort working on active job sites
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- OSHA 30 certification
- Experience on projects over $20M
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Philadelphia, PA is $104,000 – $132,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
