As an Associate Structural Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the civil engineering team works. This position is based in Philadelphia, PA. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Philadelphia location.
What you’ll do
- Analyze and design steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures
- Review shop drawings and answer contractor RFIs
- Prepare calculations and structural drawings coordinated in Revit
- Build analysis models in RISA, ETABS or SAP2000
- Perform condition assessments of existing structures
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Strong hand-calculation skills
- Clear communication with architects and contractors
- Knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, AISC and ACI codes
Nice to have
- Seismic design experience
- PE or SE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Philadelphia, PA is $69,000 – $88,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
