As an Environmental Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the environmental engineering team works. This position is based in San Jose, CA. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our San Jose office.
What you’ll do
- Advise clients on environmental regulations
- Plan and run site investigations and remediation projects
- Prepare air, water and waste permit applications
- Collect and interpret soil, groundwater and air samples
- Write compliance reports for state and federal agencies
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil or Chemical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER (or able to obtain)
- Knowledge of EPA and state environmental regulations
- Field sampling experience
Nice to have
- PE license
- Experience with PFAS investigation or treatment
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in San Jose, CA is $119,000 – $151,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
