As a Structural Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the civil engineering team works. This position is based in Mesa, AZ. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Mesa location.
What you’ll do
- Build analysis models in RISA, ETABS or SAP2000
- Analyze and design steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures
- Perform condition assessments of existing structures
- Prepare calculations and structural drawings coordinated in Revit
- Review shop drawings and answer contractor RFIs
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong hand-calculation skills
- Clear communication with architects and contractors
- Knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, AISC and ACI codes
Nice to have
- PE or SE license
- Master’s degree in structural engineering
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Mesa, AZ is $89,000 – $113,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
