The employer is looking for a Senior Chemical Engineer in Louisville, KY. In this role you will lead technical work alongside an experienced chemical engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Louisville location.
What you’ll do
- Design and scale up chemical processes from pilot to production
- Simulate processes in Aspen Plus
- Size equipment and prepare process design packages
- Support capital projects through commissioning
- Take part in process hazard analyses
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Understanding of process safety
- Experience with process simulation software
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- PE license
- Pilot plant experience
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Louisville, KY is $106,000 – $135,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
