As a Senior Network Engineer with the employer, you will lead technical work and help shape how the software engineering team works. This position is based in Arlington, TX. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Arlington office.
What you’ll do
- Design, build and support enterprise LAN, WAN and data center networks
- Configure routing, switching, firewalls and SD-WAN
- Monitor performance and troubleshoot outages
- Document network designs and standards
- Automate network changes with Python and Ansible
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Firewall administration experience
- Clear documentation habits
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper or Arista platforms
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud networking
- CCNP or CCIE certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Arlington, TX is $120,000 – $152,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
