The employer is looking for a Software Engineer in St. Paul, MN. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced software engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our St. Paul office.
What you’ll do
- Write clean, well-tested code and review pull requests from teammates
- Improve performance, reliability and observability across the services you own
- Diagnose and resolve production issues, and write the follow-up that keeps them from recurring
- Contribute to technical design documents and architecture discussions
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Comfort working with version control, code review and automated testing
- Experience with relational databases and writing efficient SQL
- Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms and software design principles
Nice to have
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience building distributed systems or event-driven architectures
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in St. Paul, MN is $124,000 – $158,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
