We are hiring a Water Resources Engineer to join our civil engineering team in Salt Lake City. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Salt Lake City location.
What you’ll do
- Support grant applications and regulatory submittals
- Model hydrology and hydraulics for flood control and stormwater projects
- Analyze data in GIS to support capital planning
- Prepare master plans and engineering reports for municipal clients
- Design water distribution, sewer and pump station improvements
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Working GIS skills
- Strong report writing
- Experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS or SWMM
Nice to have
- Experience with InfoWater or WaterGEMS
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Salt Lake City, UT is $85,000 – $108,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
