The employer is looking for a Water Resources Engineer in North Las Vegas, NV. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced civil engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our North Las Vegas office.
What you’ll do
- Prepare master plans and engineering reports for municipal clients
- Model hydrology and hydraulics for flood control and stormwater projects
- Analyze data in GIS to support capital planning
- Design water distribution, sewer and pump station improvements
- Support grant applications and regulatory submittals
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Understanding of hydraulics and hydrology
- Experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS or SWMM
- Strong report writing
Nice to have
- Experience with InfoWater or WaterGEMS
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in North Las Vegas, NV is $87,000 – $111,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
