As a Water Resources Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the civil engineering team works. This position is based in New York, NY. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our New York location.
What you’ll do
- Analyze data in GIS to support capital planning
- Design water distribution, sewer and pump station improvements
- Support grant applications and regulatory submittals
- Prepare master plans and engineering reports for municipal clients
- Model hydrology and hydraulics for flood control and stormwater projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Working GIS skills
- Experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS or SWMM
- Strong report writing
Nice to have
- PE license
- Experience with InfoWater or WaterGEMS
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $113,000 – $144,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
