Our Mesa office is growing, and we need a Water Resources Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative civil engineering group and report to the civil engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Mesa location.
What you’ll do
- Model hydrology and hydraulics for flood control and stormwater projects
- Design water distribution, sewer and pump station improvements
- Prepare master plans and engineering reports for municipal clients
- Analyze data in GIS to support capital planning
- Support grant applications and regulatory submittals
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong report writing
- Working GIS skills
- Experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS or SWMM
Nice to have
- PE license
- Experience with InfoWater or WaterGEMS
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Mesa, AZ is $84,000 – $108,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
