As a Transportation Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the civil engineering team works. This position is based in Portland, OR. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Portland location.
What you’ll do
- Design roadway, intersection and multimodal improvements
- Perform traffic impact and signal timing studies in Synchro
- Design signing, striping and maintenance-of-traffic plans
- Prepare plans, specifications and estimates for DOT projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with MicroStation/OpenRoads or Civil 3D
- Experience with traffic analysis software
- Strong written communication
Nice to have
- PE or PTOE certification
- Experience on state DOT projects
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Portland, OR is $93,000 – $118,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
