Our Indianapolis office is growing, and we need a Transportation Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative civil engineering group and report to the civil engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Indianapolis location.
What you’ll do
- Design signing, striping and maintenance-of-traffic plans
- Prepare plans, specifications and estimates for DOT projects
- Present findings at public meetings
- Design roadway, intersection and multimodal improvements
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with traffic analysis software
- Strong written communication
- Knowledge of MUTCD and AASHTO standards
Nice to have
- PE or PTOE certification
- Experience on state DOT projects
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Indianapolis, IN is $84,000 – $107,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
