The employer is a precision machining and fabrication company serving aerospace and defense customers.
Our Springfield office is growing, and we need a Systems Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative systems engineering group and report to the systems engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Springfield office.
What you’ll do
- Lead technical reviews with customers and suppliers
- Plan and track verification and validation activities
- Build system models in SysML
- Define interfaces and maintain interface control documents
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Ability to work across disciplines
- Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS or Jama
- Knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle
Nice to have
- INCOSE certification
- Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Springfield, MA is $119,000 – $151,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
