As a Structural Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the civil engineering team works. This position is based in Grand Rapids, MI. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Grand Rapids location.
What you’ll do
- Prepare calculations and structural drawings coordinated in Revit
- Analyze and design steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures
- Perform condition assessments of existing structures
- Review shop drawings and answer contractor RFIs
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with structural analysis software
- Clear communication with architects and contractors
- Strong hand-calculation skills
Nice to have
- PE or SE license
- Seismic design experience
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Grand Rapids, MI is $92,000 – $117,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
