The employer is looking for a Structural Engineer in Charlotte, NC. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced civil engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Charlotte office.
What you’ll do
- Build analysis models in RISA, ETABS or SAP2000
- Prepare calculations and structural drawings coordinated in Revit
- Perform condition assessments of existing structures
- Analyze and design steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures
- Review shop drawings and answer contractor RFIs
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with structural analysis software
- Knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, AISC and ACI codes
- Clear communication with architects and contractors
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in structural engineering
- PE or SE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Charlotte, NC is $84,000 – $107,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
