The employer is looking for a Structural Engineer in Buffalo, NY. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced civil engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Buffalo office.
What you’ll do
- Perform condition assessments of existing structures
- Review shop drawings and answer contractor RFIs
- Prepare calculations and structural drawings coordinated in Revit
- Analyze and design steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures
- Build analysis models in RISA, ETABS or SAP2000
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, AISC and ACI codes
- Experience with structural analysis software
- Clear communication with architects and contractors
Nice to have
- PE or SE license
- Master’s degree in structural engineering
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Buffalo, NY is $96,000 – $122,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
