We are hiring a Staff QA Automation Engineer to join our software engineering team in Norman. You will set technical direction on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Norman office.
What you’ll do
- Write test plans and test cases for new features
- Report on quality metrics and release readiness
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
- Track, reproduce and triage defects with developers
- Design and maintain automated UI and API test suites
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
- Set technical standards and guide decisions across multiple projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience testing REST APIs
- Experience building test automation with Selenium, Playwright or Cypress
- Programming ability in Python, Java or JavaScript
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6
- ISTQB certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Norman, OK is $135,000 – $172,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
