Our Anaheim office is growing, and we need a Staff QA Automation Engineer who can set technical direction from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative software engineering group and report to the software engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Anaheim office.
What you’ll do
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
- Write test plans and test cases for new features
- Design and maintain automated UI and API test suites
- Report on quality metrics and release readiness
- Track, reproduce and triage defects with developers
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
- Set technical standards and guide decisions across multiple projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience building test automation with Selenium, Playwright or Cypress
- Experience testing REST APIs
- Strong attention to detail
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- ISTQB certification
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Anaheim, CA is $173,000 – $220,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
