We are hiring a Staff DevOps Engineer to join our software engineering team in Clearwater. You will set technical direction on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Clearwater location.
What you’ll do
- Harden infrastructure and automate security patching
- Take part in an on-call rotation and lead incident reviews
- Operate Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, scaling and cost control
- Set up monitoring, alerting and dashboards for production systems
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that let teams ship safely several times a day
- Manage cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
- Set technical standards and guide decisions across multiple projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience running containerized workloads in production
- Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD tooling
- Strong Linux administration and scripting skills
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization
- Kubernetes certification (CKA or CKAD)
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Clearwater, FL is $158,000 – $201,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
