The employer is looking for a Software Engineer in Phoenix, AZ. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced software engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is on site at our Phoenix location.
What you’ll do
- Contribute to technical design documents and architecture discussions
- Automate repetitive build, test and release steps
- Improve performance, reliability and observability across the services you own
- Diagnose and resolve production issues, and write the follow-up that keeps them from recurring
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with relational databases and writing efficient SQL
- Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms and software design principles
- Professional experience shipping production software in at least one modern language
Nice to have
- Experience building distributed systems or event-driven architectures
- Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Phoenix, AZ is $75 – $91 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
