We are hiring a Software Engineer to join our software engineering team in New York. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our New York office.
What you’ll do
- Design, build and maintain services and features used by thousands of customers every day
- Contribute to technical design documents and architecture discussions
- Improve performance, reliability and observability across the services you own
- Automate repetitive build, test and release steps
- Write clean, well-tested code and review pull requests from teammates
- Mentor teammates and help raise the bar for code quality on the team
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Comfort working with version control, code review and automated testing
- Experience with relational databases and writing efficient SQL
- Professional experience shipping production software in at least one modern language
Nice to have
- Experience building distributed systems or event-driven architectures
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $152,000 – $193,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
