As a Software Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the software engineering team works. This position is based in Charlotte, NC. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Charlotte office.
What you’ll do
- Automate repetitive build, test and release steps
- Improve performance, reliability and observability across the services you own
- Partner with product managers and designers to scope and estimate new work
- Write clean, well-tested code and review pull requests from teammates
- Design, build and maintain services and features used by thousands of customers every day
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Professional experience shipping production software in at least one modern language
- Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms and software design principles
- Experience with relational databases and writing efficient SQL
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Charlotte, NC is $110,000 – $141,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
